We’re the team behind the UNTERSILLERHOF: Gerhard and Anita, along with our “next generation”—Alina, Mona, and Simon. You’ll find us by the barn fence in the morning, or we’ll be happy to explain to you over coffee why the cow has so much to say today of all days.
Here with us, you’re part of our little farm. We’ll serve you pure wine and ice-cold water from our very own farm spring. The experience we’ll share with you is warm, genuine, and unfiltered.

Preserving the old is just as important to us as having the courage to try new things. We preserve the original character of our buildings rather than modernizing them at any cost, yet we still look to the future. For us, tradition and vision are not a contradiction.

Real Farm Life
Our everyday life, your adventure
Milking cows, coaxing the donkeys into agreeing, watching the ducks waddle around: Things are always bustling here… just like on a farm.
If you’d like, you can watch farmer Gerhard at work, collect eggs, or help with feeding. If you’d rather just watch, feel free to do so. This isn’t a farm show—it’s hands-on farming.

The fine art of escaping the daily grind. Squinting in the sun until the outside world seems tiny. Or exploring the Stubai Mountains, from a walk through the woods all the way up to the glacier.

Our Farm Store
We run our farm organically out of conviction. The food we serve comes from a specific place and has a human face. We enhance your snacks with what the soil provides.
Creamy yogurt, eggs from free-range chickens, and homemade jams.
Fresh potatoes, herb salt from our own farm, rose syrup, or an apricot schnapps that perks you right up.
We are proud to be part of the “Stubai Farmers.” We are 12 farms that demonstrate that genuine hospitality and nature-based agriculture are the best antidote to uniformity.

The Farm Museum
While others read about history in books, you can breathe it in here with us. Our farmhouse and our Gallus vacation home are a real treasure trove.
At the Farm Museum, we preserve artifacts from a time when work was still hard and the terms used were unique. Gerhard will regale you with the perfect anecdotes about our ancestors to go along with them. Afterward, you’re guaranteed to know what a “Fetzkachel” or a “Fergl” is.
Slow is also a speed.
